Other countries began to believe in the victory of Ukraine and realized that the transition to the latest weapons is important for Ukraine.
This was announced on the air of the informational telethon by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov.
According to him, at the end of April, during a meeting of an international advisory group of 40 countries at the US Ramstein airbase in Germany, it was noted that for Ukraine now is the most important timing, and other countries should quickly help it.
At the same time, Reznikov stressed at this meeting that these countries should understand that the second important factor for Ukraine should be transformation and transition to the latest weapons.
“We do not expect other countries to help with a Soviet tank or projectile, if they are, then we will take them, but this should not be a principled approach. We need multiple launch rocket systems …, tanks, aircraft and everything that today will be effective and successfully in not only stopping the enemy, but also throwing him out of our borders, and along the entire line of internationally recognized borders of Ukraine,” the minister noted.
He stressed that other countries began to believe in the victory of Ukraine.
“The second very important aspect is that they have already begun to strengthen their eastern flank… – in Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, etc., either exercises are taking place, or the contingent is increasing…”, the head of the Defense Ministry added.
According to Reznikov, he reminded other countries that Russia will not disappear even after the defeat, but will accumulate strength in order to take revenge, so the whole civilized world must be ready.
“And this means that you must make this powerful eastern front out of us, and then you will sleep peacefully,” he said.
