United States President Joseph Biden has signed a new package of military assistance to Ukraine. Our defenders will receive additional artillery ammunition, radars and other equipment.
Biden wrote about this on his page in Twitter.
“Today, the United States continues our strong support for the brave people of Ukraine who are defending their country. I am announcing another security assistance package that will provide Ukraine with additional artillery ammunition, radar and other equipment,” the US president said.
The White House website also emphasizes that US support, along with the contribution of allies and partners, was crucial in helping Ukraine win the Battle of Kyiv and hinder Putin’s military goals in Ukraine. The last aid package almost ran out of funding, so Biden signed a new one.
“For Ukraine to succeed in this next phase of the war, its international partners, including the United States, must continue to demonstrate our unity and our determination to ensure the smooth flow of weapons and ammunition to Ukraine. Congress must quickly provide the requested funding to strengthen Ukraine on the battlefield and at the table negotiations,” the White House said in a statement.
