A Ocyanold Odebrecht Oil and Gasstarted this Monday, May 2, registration for an acceleration program aimed at cleantechs, startups that propose to fight ecological problems. The company, which had a net revenue of BRL 3.1 billion and an Ebitda of BRL 2.1 billion in 2021, will allocate BRL 90,000 to three selected cleantechs, with BRL 30,000 in startup funding. In addition to financial capital, mentorships will be offered. In the previous two years, the company invested 2 million reais in a program for startups, which focused on innovation in general, without an environmental focus.
Patricia Grabowsky, the company’s innovation manager, says the company has plans to have 25% of its business linked to clean energy projects by 2040. At the moment, the movement with green startups is quite timid.
