The frozen assets of the Russian Federation will not arrive in Ukraine in the near future.
This was stated by Minister of Finance of Ukraine Serhiy Marchenko on the air of the telethon.
According to him, decisions on frozen assets are made by the governments of those countries where these assets are frozen.
“I can’t say yet that these funds will go to Ukraine in the near future. I know that similar work is being done in Canada and the United States. In Europe, this is somewhat more difficult, but I’m sure that they will also join this process as soon as possible. rather,” Marchenko said.
Recall that Kyiv is negotiating with the United States on the use of frozen Russian assets for financial assistance to Ukraine.
